Grizzlies ban gambling on plane
The Memphis Grizzlies banned gambling on their team plane after a fight broke out between two players.
O.J. Mayo and Tony Allen got into a dispute over unpaid money resulting from gambling in a card game.
Allen wanted Mayo to pay up on his debt, and it eventually lead to several players getting involved to separate the two.
Interestingly enough, it was this same scenario that sent the Gilbert Arena-Javaris Crittenton situation spiraling out of control in Washington last year.
Gambling on card games has long been a pastime of NBA players, especially on long road trips.
